Clint Brasher is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law

Years of experience and the handling of countless personal injury cases are all well and good, but few things can prove an attorney’s excellence more than board certification. The Texas Board of Legal Certification (TBLS) oversees the certification of a large number of applicants each year, but only awards the title of board certified attorney to a select and deserving few. The certification process is very detailed and requires attorneys to meet a number of criteria and high standards of quality and ethics.

In order to apply for board certification in personal injury law, a lawyer must:
  • Have practiced law for at least five years
  • Have practiced personal injury for at least three years
  • Complete TBLS-approved, ongoing legal education course work
  • Provide at least 10 qualified, vetted references
  • Provide extensive, relevant experience documentation
  • Demonstrate ongoing involvement in personal injury
  • Pass a day-long personal injury trial law examination
  • Undergo annual recertification with TBLS

Due to the nature of the certification process, only 10% of Texas’ practicing attorneys have the honor of calling themselves board certified. Attorneys are prohibited from advertising themselves as “specialists” or “experts” in any legal area unless they have the express permission of the Texas Bar Association. Attorney Clint Brasher of Brasher Law Firm, PLLC is one such lawyer, having passed the certification process and become board certified in personal injury trial law.

Testimonials

I was scared to death after being on the witness stand for several hours. Clint Brasher kept reassuring me but, when we broke the trial for the day and I was offered $100,000.00, I wanted to take it. Clint advised me not to and that we would do better with the jury. While it was hard, I followed his advice. The verdict the next day was for $240,000.00 plus interest. I recommend anyone with a legal problem to call Clint Brasher. He was not only a skillful advocate, he was a friend to me during this difficult time.

Edward Arabie

After being told by multiple lawyers that I really had no case or that my chances of being awarded any settlement was very slim, I was referred to the Brasher Law firm. Nishi worked on my case and with very little effort on my part, she put together my case with an opening statement and presentation that put my opponent on their heels. She set a goal from the start and didn’t relent until her goal was met and I got what was owed me. Thank you Nishi for knocking it out of the park!
