In another fight against an insurance company, Brasher Law Firm recently filed suit on behalf of On Stage Hair Design and Day Spa for its denied business interruption claim. On Stage is a premier hair design and day spa and has serviced citizens of Southeast Texas. On Stage has been open for business in this area for 35 years serving generations of folks in this area.
And, to protect its business, On Stage purchased insurance to protect them in the event of a business closure due to government orders. Yet, after filing its claim, On Stage was met with an almost immediate rejection. With little effort by The Hartford companies to evaluate the claim, it was rejected in its entirety. Paul Traylor, owner of On Stage Hair Design and Day Spa, said this about the quick denial:
“It is my belief that by simple definition ‘Business Interruption Insurance’ should cover just that! My business has been severely interrupted as we were told we had to close. I thought I bought insurance for stuff like that. We have suffered loss of brand consistency by not being able to be of service to our guests. We are looking forward to helping our customers again and wish the best for all.”
Brasher Law Firm has helped people from West Texas to South Texas and everywhere in between. As a firm, says owner Clint Brasher, we are committed to helping policyholders stand up against their scrupulous insurers. If your claim has been rejected, please contact us.
